A poem about Measles.

Yep, finally at this point…
meas

Just saw another story about suing the unvaxxed.
Friend asked, “When did Americans become such pussies [over measles]?” and I replied, “When their Pharma overlords told them to be.”
Afraid of measles?
you’re an asshole who has never heard of Vit A and proper nutrition –WAIT! I take that back!
YOU morons SHOULD fear measles.
Consider most of these parents who fear the unvax’d think proper nutrition is a fucking HOT POCKET and a Flintstones vitamin.

Cunts.
How about I SUE you for feeding your children SHIT and allowing their immune systems to be so weakened by that toxic waste you call food that they are able to succumb to measles?
The body is a temple.

Be a parent.
You think pharma is an easy button to replace parenting.
Put the kid in front of the TV and Xbox –slip them some Ritalin.
Let them eat shit –give them a vaccine.

GFYM.

  1. *furious clapping* And hey, one of my friends without kids just posted about all these religious hypocrites getting their panties in bunches over measles and how they seem to think it’s OK to demand everyone do something to their bodies — for science’s sake — as long as it is supposed to keep them alive. So some people are seeing through this.

  2. I’m so over the measles. I’m so over all of it. And there is nothing happening to my kids bodies (or mine for that matter) without my approval. I’m off to make some fucking homemade chicken riggies for dinner. Yes, some of us know. Salad as a side. Sorry, no junk food here.

I guess I failed to mention I received the first licensed MMR vaccine in ’71. I got the measles in ’82. Doc recommended against getting the booster due to my age. It’s online in my baby book on AoA and has been for years. Now we’re all being told to get re-vaccinated again due to our age. Whatever. Not buying it. Nope.

I will however say, in a slight criticism; I do like Samuel L Jackson and Mutha Fucka, if you say measles one more time? He just says it so poignantly. Go ahead sue me. Where in the fuck or holy hell do people come up with shit like that? I digress.

  3. Olivia, my eldest daughter, caught measles when she was seven years old. As the illness took its usual course I can remember reading to her often in bed and not feeling particularly alarmed about it. Then one morning, when she was well on the road to recovery, I was sitting on her bed showing her how to fashion little animals out of coloured pipe-cleaners, and when it came to her turn to make one herself, I noticed that her fingers and her mind were not working together and she couldn’t do anything.

“Are you feeling all right?” I asked her.

“I feel all sleepy,” she said.

In an hour, she was unconscious. In twelve hours she was dead.

The measles had turned into a terrible thing called measles encephalitis and there was nothing the doctors could do to save her. That was twenty-four years ago in 1962, but even now, if a child with measles happens to develop the same deadly reaction from measles as Olivia did, there would still be nothing the doctors could do to help her.

On the other hand, there is today something that parents can do to make sure that this sort of tragedy does not happen to a child of theirs. They can insist that their child is immunised against measles. I was unable to do that for Olivia in 1962 because in those days a reliable measles vaccine had not been discovered. Today a good and safe vaccine is available to every family and all you have to do is to ask your doctor to administer it.

It is not yet generally accepted that measles can be a dangerous illness. Believe me, it is. In my opinion parents who now refuse to have their children immunised are putting the lives of those children at risk. In America, where measles immunisation is compulsory, measles like smallpox, has been virtually wiped out.

Here in Britain, because so many parents refuse, either out of obstinacy or ignorance or fear, to allow their children to be immunised, we still have a hundred thousand cases of measles every year. Out of those, more than 10,000 will suffer side effects of one kind or another. At least 10,000 will develop ear or chest infections. About 20 will die.

    LET THAT SINK IN.

Every year around 20 children will die in Britain from measles.

So what about the risks that your children will run from being immunised?

They are almost non-existent. Listen to this. In a district of around 300,000 people, there will be only one child every 250 years who will develop serious side effects from measles immunisation! That is about a million to one chance. I should think there would be more chance of your child choking to death on a chocolate bar than of becoming seriously ill from a measles immunisation.

So what on earth are you worrying about? It really is almost a crime to allow your child to go unimmunised.

The ideal time to have it done is at 13 months, but it is never too late. All school-children who have not yet had a measles immunisation should beg their parents to arrange for them to have one as soon as possible.

Incidentally, I dedicated two of my books to Olivia, the first was ‘James and the Giant Peach’. That was when she was still alive. The second was ‘The BFG’, dedicated to her memory after she had died from measles. You will see her name at the beginning of each of these books. And I know how happy she would be if only she could know that her death had helped to save a good deal of illness and death among other children.

    1. What Roald Dahl didn’t know, was that the risk of encephalitis and meningitis from the vaccine is the same as having those side effects from natural measles. Except that now we know Vit A therapy is important when one has measles… so, the shot carries more risk than the natural virus. Also when you quote someone you should put the whole thing in quotes and date it –considering this is an old letter AND there hasn’t been a measles death in the US since about 2003. And it was only 1. And in 2014 measles cases were WAY higher than in past years… and still… no deaths.

    2. The risk of measles is not non-existent. My brother’s four month old daughter died two days after her measles shot. Measles can have dangers and I am sorry about your daughter but measles and chicken pox are part of your immune system building.

  4. Guys, I wanted to let you know about a personal decision I recently made. I donā€™t really feel like discussing it, but I want to put my position out there. Please be respectful. This is a really long post, but please read the whole thing.

Iā€™m taking the brakes off my car. This isnā€™t a rash decision, so please listen up.

A few weeks ago I saw a car accident – two people went through an intersection at the same time. Both slammed on their brakes at the same time and collided. Fortunately no one was seriously injured.

But then it occurred to me – if they had just gone through the intersection, they wouldnā€™t have collided. The brakes CAUSED the accident!

So, I decided to do my own research and what I found was *staggering*: Hundreds of people every year are seriously injured by unnecessary braking. One time, I was driving in the snow and I just lightly tapped my brakes and it caused my car to COMPLETELY LOSE CONTROL. My brakes could have very easily gotten me killed. Even more astoundingly is how often brake pads will warp and distort rotors, causing bumpy rides and squeaky wheels.

And you know what? I also found that decades ago brakes werenā€™t even used! People would control their vehicleā€™s speed with downshifting and engine braking. Maybe itā€™s just coincidence, but back when engine braking was used there were almost no automotive fatalities. There were NEVER brake caused car accidents.

After doing some more digging, I found a nefarious plot – Mechanics: The very people who we trust to work on and care for our cars – get PAID to install and change brakes! You might THINK they care about our safety, or our cars – but theyā€™re just in it for the $49.99 brake pad installations.

So I talked to my Mechanic about taking the brakes off my car and I was disgusted by how poorly he treated me. He accused me of being ignorant, when I was the one that looked up how much rotational torque brakes can put on your rotors. He didnā€™t even know how much torque a rotor can take before being warped!!! He said ā€œrotors are designed to be compressed, that it isnā€™t actually a problemā€ just completely dismissing me.

Then he had the NERVE to say that my personal choice had consequences, that I would affect everyone around me. Well Iā€™ve had it with him, Iā€™m looking for a new mechanic. The problem is that so many mechanics are bought and paid by the automotive industry that ALL of them are insistent about my car having brakes. Most of them wonā€™t even look at my car for other reasons, saying that a brakeless car could cause damage to their shop and other cars. What a bunch of bullshit, they just donā€™t like those who believe in alternative braking techniques.

Now of course big government is getting involved, saying that I *MUST* have brakes. That this isnā€™t just about me, and that I could hurt people. What happened to personal freedom? What happened to liberty?

So all Iā€™m saying is, do your research. Donā€™t just listen to the NTSB and big automotive. I made a personal decision for my family, we just said no to brakes. Weā€™ll be using natural remedies like Gravity, and putting our feet on the ground to stop. After all, if that was good enough for me when I was on my bike as a kid, itā€™s good enough for my children in my car.

    Please keep the comments respectful!

    1. I don’t get it. You really don’t want brakes? Mechanics are owned by Big Automotive? The analogy makes no sense. The people who choose not to vaccinate are doing it because they feel the risks outweigh the benefits. Are you saying all the vaccines work perfectly and have no risks? Are some of them more important? Are some of them more effective than others? You need to do a real analysis on each one. You know an article is propaganda when they group all the vaccines together as being necessary and great and life-saving. Any person of any intelligence would see through that. They are supposed to be protective against a wide variety of illnesses of varying magnitudes. Some vaccines for the same disease have different ingredients. Even though the flu shot has a very dubious record of effectiveness, it might make sense to take one without all the mercury in it. That may sound crazy, but I don’t follow the logic of doublethink. “Mercury is dangerous, unless it is at a high dosage and injected!”

  5. Fact: Formaldehyde is a known carcinogen. http://www.niehs.nih.gov/news/newsroom/releases/2011/june10/
Fact: If i slipped formaldehyde into your orange juice and urged you to drink it, that would be be a criminal act. It is illegal to knowingly poison people. I could and should be jailed.
Fact: many vaccines contain formaldehyde. http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/downloads/appendices/B/excipient-table-2.pdf

Why do we engage in debates over vaccine ‘safety’? Some fucker knowingly put poison in a vaccine, and is pushing you to take it. Arrest the demonic fuck who did it. End of debate, end of problem. There IS NO DEBATE. It is illegal to poison people.
